A LITTLE ABOUT ME…
🌿 Hi, I’m Jessica.
I’m a nurse practitioner with a background in Western medicine and functional medicine — and I’m also someone who has had to learn how to listen to my own body the hard way.
For years, I was trained to assess symptoms, review labs, and follow protocols. That foundation matters. But it wasn’t until I began doing my own healing work — regulating my nervous system, changing how I lived, setting boundaries, and reconnecting with my body — that everything truly clicked.
I don’t believe healing happens in isolation, and I don’t believe it can be outsourced.
I believe it happens when the body feels safe enough to change.
🧠 My Background
I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner with training in functional medicine principles, and my work is informed by both modern science and traditional systems of care. I approach health through a whole-person lens — looking at stress, lifestyle, nervous system regulation, environment, movement, rest, and lived experience.
Traditional Chinese Medicine has also deeply influenced how I view health and balance. It reminds us that the body doesn’t break randomly — it adapts to the conditions it’s given.
This perspective shapes everything I offer.
🌱 How I Work
I don’t offer quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions.
My role is to guide, educate, and support — but meaningful change requires participation. Clients who work with me are asked to be curious, honest, and willing to make changes, even when those changes are uncomfortable.
This work often involves:
Nervous system regulation
Somatic awareness and movement
Sound and vibrational therapies
Lifestyle and recovery support
Learning how to slow down and listen
Healing is not about doing more.
It’s often about doing less, differently.
🧘♀️ Why Rhapsody Holistic Health Exists
Rhapsody Holistic Health was created as a space for people who feel overwhelmed, burned out, disconnected, or “off” — even when nothing looks obviously wrong.
Some people come for stress relief.
Some come for physical symptoms.
Some come because they’ve reached a point where they know they can’t keep living the same way.
All are welcome here.
✨ A Final Note
I practice what I teach.
I believe in integrity, boundaries, and nervous system safety.
And I believe that when people feel supported — not pushed — real change becomes possible.
If this resonates with you, I’d love to work together.
